Who We Are

Inclusive Voice for Women and Youth Initiative aims to promote an inclusive society for all, including persons with disabilities, women, and youths. Inclusive Voice is on a mission to change the negative attitudes, behaviors, and perceptions of the public on vulnerable groups with emphasis on persons with disabilities, women, and youths through capacity building, advocacy, cross-cultural and multi-stakeholder engagements, public sensitization, research, etc.

We are a youth-led, disability-based, and gender-sensitive organization championed by dedicated volunteers. Founded on the experiences of persons with disabilities, IVWYI continues to drive collaborative efforts from relevant stakeholders in creating an inclusive society for all.

OBJECTIVES

To improve accessibility to core services and public infrastructure such as health care, education, justice, etc. for all persons especially persons with disabilities

To change the negative attitudes and perception of the public towards disability related matters through awareness creation

To galvanize collaborative efforts towards addressing stigmatization and discrimination of vulnerable persons

To improve the socio-economic statuses of vulnerable groups to enable them to compete favorably with non-vulnerable people

To liaise with government bodies, foreign organizations, and other established institutions with similar objectives

To work with volunteers, partners, organizations, and donors to support persons with disabilities
